Halloween Fever... literally
So, after weeks of looking forward to Halloween, sewing costumes, planning Halloween activities for the whole week, etc, the big day came. We all got ready for the first event of the night, the ward party. (Caleb playing the part of Flash Gordon, Finn as DJ Lance Rock, and Perrin and I coordinating outfits as a bank robber and the cutest sack of cash you'll ever see.)
What you can't tell in the above photo is that Perrin has a fever of 102 degrees. He is such a happy baby that we didn't really catch on until we were 5 minutes into the party... at which point I had to take him home and go into worried mother mode (swine flu is an ever-present fear of ours).
And got the same fever the morning after Halloween. We had two very sick children for 2 days but I was pleased as punch that Finn got to trick-or-treat in full health after the ward party. And, boy, did he trick-or-treat. He could barely lug around his bucket of candy but refused to let go of it so he dragged it from house to house yelling "more houses, more houses!" He was in heaven!Posted by Kathryn Poduska at 12:18 PM 2 comments

Do you know what happens to a wet camera?
I know what happens to a wet camera. It becomes unusable. At the beginning of the summer, our camera, which was at the bottom of our diaper bag, swam in some spilled apple juice. Long story short, we have not had a camera; hence no pictures. Accept my blog apology. I will beg, borrow, and steal to get some pics. Coming soon, a picture of Caleb and I parasailing at Lake Tahoe (picture courtesy of Mom).
